...so this verse and hadeeth and the likes of them are a basis for teaching the children comprehensive statements in the oneness of Allaah ('Azza Wa Jall) and teaching how to worship Him and comply with His ordinances and rely upon Him and fear Him and to have faith in divine preordainment, the good and evil thereof. So this is the correct Islamic education which it is hoped for he who is brought up upon it that he becomes from the best of the righteous slaves of Allaah. That is what prompted me to write for my small children, may Allaah rectify them and rectify (others) through them, these simple phrases in the elementary principles of Tawheed and 'Aqeedah and Fiqh backed by proofs from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah hoping from Allaah ('Azza Wa Jall) that He benefit them by it and the rest of the Muslims' children, and with Allaah is the success.

Ibnul Qayyim Publications shutting down operations
All praise is due to Allaah, the Mighty and Exalted in every time and in every place and during any circumstance. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that as of January 29th, 2008, Ibnul Qayyim Publications is shutting down its operations. We have been operating at a loss for one whole fiscal year and it is no longer financially possible to continue running the business. We thank Allaah for giving us the opportunity and we also thank our customers for supporting us during the three brief years that we were in business.

The rights of the books that we have already published which are clear of any royalty requirements have been donated to Masjid Ibn 'Uthaymeen. We hope that the masjid will have the ability to republish these beneficial works of the Scholars in the future.

May Allaah accept our small efforts and may He place them on our scale of good deeds on the Day of Judgement.
